About the artist:

My name is Kheuthmy Khambay, which means “Grow Rich Gold Leaf,” but friends and family call me Loy—sometimes it means “slip away,” sometimes “swim,” which feels just right for my journey. Born in a tiny village in Savannakhet, Laos, I grew up exploring creativity in Saint Louis, MO and Saint Petersburg, FL. Art has been my heartbeat since childhood, inspired by sitting for hours watching my uncle Thai Khambay draw. By age eight, I was drawing alongside him, fueled by the tough love and encouragement of my parents.

With degrees in Commercial Arts and Film & Video Production from Full Sail University, I ventured to Los Angeles, exploring every corner of the production world. But my heart kept returning to painting. Today, I create Feng Shui-inspired oil paintings that invite energy, mood, and joy into a space. My work is my seed—I paint for purpose, for love, and for those willing to follow their own dreams.
